My personal mission is to help people use the right data in the right ways to make a positive difference in people, teams, organizations, and communities.

YMCA WorkWell is a new initiative through the YMCA of Three Rivers committed to improving the state of workplace well-being in the communities we serve - and beyond. Our aim is to create positive Impact in our communities by gathering data-driven Insights on employee well-being and taking Action through targeted training and development to foster workplace conditions where every employee has an equal opportunity to flourish.
The Insights Survey is a simple but powerful solution for understanding your people, harnessing their feedback, and creating happy and healthy workplace cultures. The Insights Survey is a quick 20-question pulse survey that has been designed to replace the annual engagement survey. In just 5 minutes, it delivers valuable and actionable insights in a concise and easy-to-digest report.

Data Consulting
Data can be intimidating - but data-driven decision making can be ineffective at best and harmful at worst if the quality of the data is poor. That’s why it’s important to get your data strategy right.
In my 15+ years of experience in survey design and applied organizational research, I have seen too many examples of organizations making ineffective decisions based on the wrong data. As someone who cares deeply about data and positive change, I do freelance data consulting to help motivated decision makers ensure that their surveys, data, and reports are airtight.

What I Bring to the Table

As the Director of Insights at YMCA WorkWell and the YMCA of Three Rivers, I have delivered over 1000 reports to leadership teams to build healthier cultures at work and guided the data and insights strategy for the YMCA, its 1300 employees, and thousands of community members.
02.
I received my Ph.D in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management from Wilfrid Laurier in 2015. My dissertation focused on fairness in the workplace, and the factors that make managers treat employees unfairly, even when they want to be fair.
03.
I have coached competitive women’s soccer since 2014. I currently coach the Guelph Gryphons Provincial Elite Women’s team and serve as the Team Culture Specialist for the University of Guelph Gryphons Women’s Varsity Team.

I take positivity very seriously. I am a firm believer in expressing gratitude often, Iooking for the silver lining in any situation, and listening first and speaking second. I have also made it my personal mission to never, ever miss giving a deserved high-five.
